Monitor device fleets or industrial equipment, identify issues across multiple sensors, and take appropriate action when events are detected before loss or waste occurs

Define a detector model (a model of your equipment or process) using states. For each state, define conditional (Boolean) logic that evaluates the incoming inputs to detect significant events. When an event is detected, it can change the state or trigger custom-built or predefined actions using other AWS services. You can define additional events that trigger actions when entering or exiting a state and, optionally, when a condition is met.

Detector Model

To monitor your devices and processes, they must have a way to get telemetry data into AWS IoT Events. This is done by sending messages as inputs to AWS IoT Events.

Input

You can use AWS IoT Events alarms to monitor your data and get notified when a threshold is breached. Alarms provide parameters that you use to create or configure an alarm model. You can use the AWS IoT Events console or AWS IoT Events API to create or configure the alarm model. When you configure the alarm model, changes take effect as new data arrives.
